TTABlog Reaches Its 18th (XVIII) Anniversary !
"When I was 17, it was a very good year." At least for the TTABlog. Let's hope this coming year is better for everyone. The blog debuted on November 8, 2004, with a post entitled "Leo Stoller Loses Again." (here). Remember him? Here we are, just over 5,000 blog posts later and approaching 15,000 tweets. Thank you all for reading!

Thank you so much for this blog. I read it every day, and it has really helped me closely monitor the examination trends at the USPTO. It has made me a better trademark attorney.
This is one of my good habits. Can't start the day without it (and coffee)

I remember Leo Stoller because I had an issue with him and he then posted a warning that I was not a trustworthy trademark attorney.

congratulations John! I can claim bragging rights for longest running subscription that first blog post ( so you know who I am). Over the past 18 years I have told many (all?) associates, paralegals and law students that your blog is a daily must-read for the practice and that they should never miss a chance to hear you speak. If nobody else is going to comment about how hilarious John's last comment was, I guess I'll have to. The sprinkling of some humor along with the serious legal content (but is trademark registration law EVER serious?) has always been a signature of the TTABlog.
