Six leaders in artificial intelligence and intellectual property rights, including a former Philips and IBM executive, a serial entrepreneur, ex-ITC Commission and current USPTO Director of AI and Emerging Technologies have been added to the 2024 IP Awareness Summit on March 28th.

This year’s IPAS theme is “AI + IP = ?” The goal: sharing that leads to an action plan in support of creators, businesses and the public. The opening panel is “Slow, regulate or leave it alone? – Rising to the AI challenge.”

Keynote speaker Alex Castrounis is author of AI for People and Business: A Framework for Better Human Experiences and Business Success. He is a data scientist and former INDYCAR racing engineer with has over 20 years of experience advising startups to Fortune 100 companies on using data, analytics, and AI models.

This year’s Summit is being held on March 28th by the Center for Intellectual Property Understanding (CIPU) in conjunction with the McCormick School of Engineering and Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. It will take place at the beautiful Allen Center on NW’s Evanston Campus, 30 minutes from O’Hare Airport.
