Throughout the past year, feedback from the scholarly publishing community was an essential component to enhancing CCC’s market-leading solutions to help publishers of all sizes.

Whether managing institutional agreements with RightsLink for Scientific Communications, improving data quality with Ringgold Solutions, or analyzing publication data with OA Intelligence, here is a look back at some key improvements and highlights for CCC’s Scholarly Communications Suite in 2023 resulting from our continuous collaboration with publishing partners.

RightsLink for Scientific Communications:
  • Designed with smaller publishers in mind, the new RightsLink Starter edition allows users to post manuscripts to RightsLink without reliance on the submitting system or an additional API integration.
  • Working closely with members of the ESAC Initiative, exciting enhancements were made to RLSC’s reporting and alert capabilities with a special focus on the needs of consortium administrators.
  • CCC experienced another year of continued growth in authors publishing OA and institutions managing OA agreements with RLSC publishers.
OA Intelligence:
  • New data import capabilities were added to support the import of publication data from subscriptions and non-RightsLink sources to further enhance the ability to analyze and compare various business scenarios.
  • AI-enabled, affiliation-matching is combined with analytic capabilities to reliably disambiguate institution affiliation and funder relationships, thereby allowing publishers to build accurate, transparent institutional offers and easily structure and negotiate OA agreements.
 Ringgold Solutions:
