The Ministry of Information Technologies and Communications has published a proposal for the subrogation and modification of articles of Decree 1078 of 2015 that establish the criteria for setting the economic considerations for the use of electromagnetic spectrum.
By lowering the initial payment for the use of the spectrum from more than 20% to at least 20%, the Draft amendment aims to promote investment in the country’s communications industry.
