The Hellenic Copyright Organisation is organising a scientific event on the topic "Digital Services Act and Copyright - A new balance in Digital Services" that will take place on Tuesday, 24 January 2023, at the Athens Bar Association’s Event Hall (16:00 - 19:30). Marketing, Website and Social Media Officer: part-time development opportunity

The Intellectual Property Awareness Network (IPAN) is looking to recruit a UK-based Marketing, Website and Social Media Officer, responsible for developing the IPAN brand and reputational capital in line with its corporate objectives (see https://ipaware.org/). This is a part-time role, reporting to the Chair of IPAN but working closely with the Secretary and Membership Officer, and is estimated at an average of around 3-4 hours per week, although the workload will vary, particularly at peak periods leading up to events. The role requires some travel to IPAN events and meetings (generally held in London). The role would suit a postgraduate with professional experience and/or an academic background in IP and with experience of marketing through an active social media and website presence. An honorarium and out-of-pocket expenses will be paid.

Call for papers: “8th Annual Conference GRUR Junge Wissenschaft Colloquium on Intellectual Property, Copyright and Media Law”

The University of Potsdam is hosting the 8th GRUR Junge Wissenschaft conference, dedicated to the diverse and pressing legal issues associated with digital platforms - AG Maciej Szpunar has confirmed that he will hold the keynote. Contributions from the fields of media, competition, information and data (protection), intellectual property, and constitutional law are welcomed. Outlines of topics and research questions are to be submitted in English or German, in max. 2000 characters by 19 February 2023 via email to jungegrur@uni-potsdam.de.
