Leading international law firm Herbert Smith Freehills has advised Hua Hong Semiconductor Limited (“Hua Hong Semiconductor”) (01347.HK/ 688347.SSE) as its Hong Kong legal advisers on the Hong Kong law aspects of its RMB21.2 billion (US$2.96 billion) initial public offering and listing on the STAR Market of the Shanghai Stock Exchange.

This is the largest A-share listing in 2023 so far, and the third-largest listing on the STAR Market of the Shanghai Stock Exchange.

Hua Hong Semiconductor is a leading global pure-play semiconductor foundry. According to IC Insights, Hua Hong Semiconductor was ranked sixth among global foundries and was the largest in mainland China based on annual revenue in 2021.

Hua Hong Semiconductor debuted on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 2014, a listing on which Herbert Smith Freehills also advised.

这是2023年到目前为止A股规模最大的上市，也是上海证券交易所科创板第三大上市。

华虹半导体是全球领先的特色工艺纯晶圆代工企业。根据IC Insights 发布的2021 年度全球晶圆代工企业的营业收入排名数据，华虹半导体位居第六位，也是中国大陆最大的专注特色工艺的晶圆代工企业。

华虹半导体于2014年在香港联交所上市，而史密夫斐尔当时亦为其香港上市提供法律服务。
