HSF Alumnus Joins Client Panel at 2nd Annual Africa Relationship Law Firm event in Johannesburg

We are thrilled to have hosted our 2nd Annual Africa Relationship Law Firm event, 54Plus, in Johannesburg, South Africa. Despite challenging economic conditions, our HSF Africa practice continues to thrive, thanks to our dedicated Africa experts and our relationships with leading African law firms spanning all 54 jurisdictions across the continent.

The event facilitated knowledge sharing and provided a platform for networking and building meaningful connections.  HSF alumnus, Olivier Binyingo, who is the current Senior Vice President of Public Affairs at Ivanhoe Mines, was part of a thought-provoking client panel on how law firms on the continent could seize more opportunities and overcome key challenges when working with clients in Africa.

The event brought together 35 African lawyers from 29 leading firms across 18 jurisdictions, fostering collaboration, building trust, and unlocking opportunities for the future. Our team, joined by industry experts, engaged in insightful discussions on Africa's M&A Future, Crisis Management, ESG, and more.
