An orthodontic appliance laboratory urged a Missouri federal judge Thursday to disqualify its former general counsel Lewis Rice LLC from representing its rival in a trademark dispute over a "SmileSeries" aligner tray brand, arguing that the law firm represented it for nearly two decades, including in the litigation at hand.
