Samsung has infringed trademarks of some of the Swatch Group's biggest brands by allowing customers to download external apps for its smartwatch that replicate the face of the Swiss company's famous watches, a London court has ruled.

Matchmakers Match.com monopolise “match” to force Muslim-focused Muzmatch to unmatch Match Group, LLC V Muzmatch Ltd [2022] EWHC 941 (April 2022) “Match” is an obviously descriptive word in the context of online dating, but it is also the name of one of the largest dating sites, match.com. Those watch faces bore Swatch’s trade marks.
