On 26 October 2021, the Australian Government released its policy document Australia’s whole-of-economy Long-Term Emissions Reduction Plan (the Plan ). The Government has emphasised the Plan’s respect for consumer and business choice while seeking to reduce emissions and help Australian economy capture a share of emerging global markets. .
